| April 18-20 - "School of the Piece" National Civil War Artillery Association
National artillery qualification and certification school for Civil War reenactors. Public visitors to the Historic Area will have the opportunity to observe the school as part of their regular admission.

| 2008 Annual Christmas Parade |
| Friday After Thanksgiving. Historic Downtown Weston’s Annual Christmas Parade for an evening of fun for all ages. Highlights of the evening include the lighting of the Dancing Snowflakes and the official arrival of Santa Claus in Lewis County. Parade entrants will stroll down Main Avenue under the glistening of the Dancing Snowflakes and make their way to Center Avenue and end at Robert L. Bland Middle School.
