Monthly Chamber Membership Meeting
The LC Chamber holds it's monthly Board and membership meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:15 at the Lewis County Senior Center. Members are invited to attend.
Buckhannon Choral Society
Rehearsals begin January 21st at 7p.m. in the First United Methodist Church on Florida Street. The spring concert is expected to be held on April 27th. Please call Maria Bray at 472-2773 if your need more information.

Weston 5K Run and Wellness Walk
Saturday, April 12th - 10am Runners and walkers are intited to wind their way through the streets of Weston; Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, and St. Patrick School. For more information call 304-269-8167
Jackson's Mill Historic Area Open
April 5 - Jackson's Mill Historic Area Spring hours begin! The Historic Area will be open Thursday through Sunday from 10am-5pm. Guided tours begin on the hour; last tour begins at 4pm.

Civil War Artillery Association
April 18-20 - "School of the Piece" National Civil War Artillery Association National artillery qualification and certification school for Civil War reenactors. Public visitors to the Historic Area will have the opportunity to observe the school as part of their regular admission. Public hours will be 10am-5pm.

Jane Lew Volunteer Fire Department Mothers Day Dinner
Sunday May 11, 2008 from 11am-2pm. The menu consists of baked steak, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, cole slaw, dessert, and drink. Cost is $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for children. Located at Jane Lew Fire Dept.
Afternoon of Art
Saturday, May 31 from 1pm to 5pm at St. Paul's West Hall on the corner of Center and East 2nd Streets. Enjoy a dessert buffet with coffee or tea for only $5. The 3rd Annual Weston Market Fair will be held June 27-29. This event will feature craft, agriculture, antique, and food vendors. WV State Folk Festival in Glenville
June 21-23 Celebrating 59 years of Appalachian Culture. FREE, you can walk through Glenville and hear a beautiful waltz or an exciting dance tune played by fiddles, banjos, guitars and dulcimers. 72nd Annual Chamber Dinner

16th Annual Glass Gathering
The glass gathering drew artist and collectors from through out the US to our county. We appreciate the hard work from the volunteers at the West Virginia Museum of American Glass for bringing so many new visitors to Lewis County.

WV Storytelling Festival
October 1-2 "Voices from the Mountains" The West Virginia Storytelling Festival Elementary and middle school students from around the area will hear some amazing tales spun by professional storytellers. Pre-registration is required. Registration packets will be sent to schools in the spring; registration information will also be available here after April 1st.
Jackson's Mill Corn Mazes
October - Corn Mazes - expanded event! In addition to our popular Haunted Corn Maze, we'll be adding a daylight maze appropriate for all ages in 2008. 2008 Annual Christmas Parade
Friday After Thanksgiving. Historic Downtown Weston’s Annual Christmas Parade for an evening of fun for all ages. Highlights of the evening include the lighting of the Dancing Snowflakes and the official arrival of Santa Claus in Lewis County. Parade entrants will stroll down Main Avenue under the glistening of the Dancing Snowflakes and make their way to Center Avenue and end at Robert L. Bland Middle School.
