Lewis County Business Summer Cooldown: Support Local, All Season Long

Last Updated 7/16/2025 • Posted in Member Highlight, promotions

Summer in Lewis County is full of sunshine, barbecues, and family time—but for many small businesses, it can also bring slower foot traffic as people travel or shift routines. That’s why the Lewis County Chamber of Commerce is kicking off the Summer Cooldown for Local Businesses Campaign—to help keep the spotlight on our hometown entrepreneurs and encourage all of us to shop, dine, and support local this season.

Keep Business Booming This Summer

If you're a local business, this is your moment to stay top-of-mind with customers. We’re here to help you stand out with the Summer Cooldown campaign. Share with us:

Seasonal Deals or Events: Running a summer sale, hosting an event, or launching a limited-time offer? Let us help you spread the word.
Summer Hours: Changed your schedule to soak up the season? We’ll share your updated hours so customers know when to stop by.
Photos and Stories: Whether it’s your best-selling summer item, a behind-the-scenes look at your team, or just a friendly hello—send it our way and we’ll help feature it.

Email your updates, photos, and details to [email protected], or tag the Chamber on Facebook and Instagram using #lcsummercooldown. We’ll take it from there and help you shine all summer long.

Why It Matters

Every purchase from a Lewis County business helps keep our economy strong and our community vibrant. Local businesses aren’t just places to shop—they’re run by our neighbors, our friends, and the people who give back year-round. By choosing local, you’re helping someone send a kid to camp, hire a new employee, or simply stay open another season.

To Our Community

Let’s not take a vacation from supporting the businesses that support us. Whether you’re out for a cold drink, picking up summer gear, or scheduling a service, make it local whenever you can.

This summer, let’s keep Lewis County cool—with community pride, strong local connections, and shared support for the businesses that make this place home.
