Regional Sports Complex on Corridor H Announcement

Despite the constant sprinkles, it was a great announcement today for the Corridor H communities.   The John C. Allen Regional Hub is a $40-$50 million project consisting of multi-use indoor recreational facilities as well as outdoor athletic fields snow activities and lodging. The Hub will be built on 70 acres of prime development land donated to the project by the J.F. Allen Company of Buckhannon.  This will be bring families, children, sports enthusiasts and tourists to the area.   The Governor announced a $12 million AMBLR grant has been secured for a total of $16 million in funding for phase I of the project.
