Beautiful day for a Ribbon Cutting

Weston Walmart Supercenter Transformation

It was a wonderful day for a ribbon cutting at our Weston Walmart Supercenter.     The company undertook a multimillion-dollar store transformation from new customer experiences to new capabilities and services.    With the American spirit, the Lewis County Color Guard presented the flag and Suzanne Mallard sing our national anthem.   

Walmart leadership took time to recognize many of their long-standing store associates for their dedication and years of service.   The Store Manager gave community funds to the Lewis County Sheriff, Lewis County Senior Citizen's Center and the Lewis County Family Resource Network.   The store's manager recommitted Walmart's service to the community and surrounding area.    Local and state dignitaries were on hand with proclamations, congratulations and gratitude for the continued investment in our community.    The ceremony ended with a ribbon cutting and photo session.    Thanks to all who came out to celebrate today!
