The Lewis County Chamber of Commerce will welcome Dr. Javier Cardenas of the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute for its October Learn@Lunch event on Thursday, October 15, at noon at The Coffeehouse in Weston.

Learn@Lunch is a Chamber program that brings local business and community leaders together for an opportunity to learn from knowledgeable professionals while building connections with others throughout the community.

Dr. Cardenas will share insights from his work with the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute, giving attendees an opportunity to learn more about advances in neuroscience and the innovative work being conducted in West Virginia.

The Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute is part of West Virginia University and is recognized for its work in neuroscience research, clinical care and the development of innovative approaches to neurological and behavioral health.

“Learn@Lunch gives us an opportunity to bring expertise from across West Virginia directly to our local business and community leaders,” said Robin Poling, Executive Director of the Lewis County Chamber of Commerce. “We’re excited to have Dr. Cardenas join us and share his perspective on the work being done at the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute.”

The event will be held at The Coffeehouse in Weston beginning at noon on October 15. Attendees are invited to join us for lunch, learn something new and connect with fellow members of the Lewis County business community.
